Carnival for children at the castle Kaprun

CHILDREN'S CARNIVAL AT KAPRUN CASTLE

Carnival Sunday, 15 February 2026 | 1 to 5 pm | Free admission

On Shrove Sunday 2026, it will be that time again, when Kaprun Castle will belong entirely to the little carnival fools with their great costumes. Two stations will delight the kids. In the knights' hall on the big stage, Elke and her team await you, music, games and dancing will be offered. A handicraft and play corner as well as a make-up station await you in the castle tavern on the 1 floor.

Each child receives a drink and a carnival doughnut, sponsored by the bakery Katschner Brot & mehr Kaprun. Of course, parents are also welcome. Parents can spend the waiting time in the gallery hall.
Our castle tavern is open, with sweets, as well as doughnuts from the Katschner Kaprun bakery. The organisers municipality, the castle association and the Kaprun Tourism Association as well as the Children's Friends Salzburg invite all young visitors in their great costumes to Kaprun Castle.
