Freshly cooked and down-to-earth are the dishes that come to the table here in front of breathtaking panoramas and with friendly service. The kitchen team attaches particular importance to absolute freshness and regionality. Pinzgauer Kasnockn in a pfandl with cheese from the region, golden brown baked Viennese schnitzel or homemade sweet seducers from the legendary Austrian pastel cuisine.
The wine list offers a wide selection of quality wines, especially Austrian winemakers. Together with the private brewery Stiegl, the “typical Austrian restaurant” spoils at 2,450 meters, with brewing art at the highest level.
Sun-seekers settle on the wind-protected terrace, inside the glacier mill thick natural stone walls and larch wood panelling provide alpine cosiness. The wind-protected panoramic screen offers a view of Kaprun and Lake Zell. Here you like to stay a little longer, because the friendly atmosphere and the fabulous view invite you to linger.
The Restaurant Gletschermühle is a carefully selected member of the “Via Culinaria – pleasure trail for hut stools” and every season a separate Via Culinaria dish is created from the finest regional products.
Meat tigers can rejoice, because every Sunday is Bratl-Sunday and oven-fresh roast pork is served with dumplings and sauerkraut.
