Integrated into the grounds of the Verwöhnhotel Vötters Sportkristall (500 m from the village centre in castle direction), is the vintage car museum on an area of 1,400 m². On display are over 200 exhibits (cars, motorbikes, tractors, steam trains and rarities) from the 1950s to 1970s and older cars, motorbikes, tractors, old Kitzsteinhorn cable cars, a flat from the 1950s and the biggest convertible in the world. Vehicles of the common man from the 1950s to the 1970s are shown. Perhaps there is also a vehicle that you yourself, your parents, grandparents or someone from the circle of acquaintances has driven. Around 85 cars and two-wheelers plus tractors, rarities, motors, radios and much more.
Vehicles of the common man from the 1950s to 1970s and older are exhibited in the museum. The collection includes a range of models – starting from a BMW Isetta to the Messerschmitt Kabinenroller. Cinema 3000 – Austria’s highest-altitude cinema is at the Kitzsteinhorn glacier station. Comfortably sit down in the step-shaped arena and, as soon as the film starts, immerse yourself virtually in the high-alpine world of the Kitzsteinhorn and Hohe Tauern National Parks. It shows fascinating pictures of tremendous beauty of the high-alpine mountains throughout the entire year.
